Welcome to the St.Croix Daily Blog.

Our St. Croix mission is simple;

a) show you the beautiful Virgin Islands.
b) serve as a reality check on days the mercury reaches below zero.
c) and act as an anchor to your dreams, by constantly tempting you with our daily images.

In short, this place is dedicated to those who aren't here,
we promise to do our best to make you wish that
you were.

Salt River Bay: National Park, Relatively Unnoticed for Decades.

An aerial view of the Salt River Bay area. This is about 3 miles west of Christiansted, on St. Croix Island. It became a national park in 1992, after sitting relatively unnoticed for decades. Even today many tourists never get a chance to see this pristine area of St. Croix.

Thomas Misses St. Croix.

Rain today, it was the afterbirth of Thomas glancing the island. Looks like another year of misses, I'll take it.

The Palms Pool.

Pool at the Palms, great spot, great restuarant and always had good service here.

Really folks . . .
Does it get much better than this?
All I can say is; Florida's got nuthin on St. Croix.
When you look at oceanfront property prices, its really better here in St. Croix. The other day I saw a house for sale 30ft from the shore, 3K sqr feet in great shape WITH a beautiful pool (why a pool when so close to the ocean, ya got me) asking price was $680K. Now that is insane, try finding that anywhere in the states for even twice that much.
In the states no matter how much you spend though, you will never see waters so clean, so blue, or so clear. That my friends is . . . . . priceless!

A Great St. Croix Virgin Islands Video!

Click on the black box to view this terrific video of St. Croix!
The water colors surrounding St. Croix are hauntingly beautiful. Instantly, you are inspired by the multi shades of blue that can be viewed from just about anywhere on the island.

I'm always fascinated by how little we Americans know of, or understand the Virgin Islands, specifically St. Croix. But that's why I've decided to take on this project; to share this little known gem of a paradise!

Storms in St. Croix, Virgin Islands

Illuminated by silhouettes of clouds and light; storms make an interesting canvas. The "wet season" is all of October, meaning; plenty of these inspiring vistas can be witnessed.

St. Croix - wishing you were here!

Just a small postcard I discovered . . .

Wishing you were here.

Hmm, that greeting is missing something.
Hope you're enjoying the frostbite,
call me when you've had enough!
